Easter weekend is almost here, and unfortunately because of the virus, very few, if any, churches will be having a normal Easter Sunday service. This is a huge change, and churches are adapting - mine and Amelia's church have delivered communion to our homes for Sunday; LJ's church is doing parking lot/radio services. I read something this morning that I want to focus on in today's prayer - we can still worship God when we are not inside of the church walls. It may be a different circumstance, but He is still God, and He is still worthy of our worship and praise and faith, no matter what has changed for our humanly routines.

Lord, as we come so close to Good Friday and Easter, we pray that you help church leaders to improvise so that your people can still hear your word of why you sent your Son to die for us. Please help us to realize that we can, and should, and will still praise you through these uncertain times and just because our routines are off track, You are not. You are right here with us and we will praise you in our homes, with our families because you are still good. We ask that you give us the desire to build new routines to focus on you in these troubling times and that you bring us closer to you during this Holy Week, and this important weekend full of Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
