Looking back at the last year, for all of us and definitely in my own life, there has been a lot of change, a lot of waiting, a lot of doing new things. All of this has fit into God's timing.
The "Waiting on God" devotional in the YouVersion Bible app discusses that "God's purposes for you will bring contentment, satisfaction, and success." In a recent Joyce Meyer podcast titled "Ways the Devil Deceives Us," she says not to do something that you don't have peace about, and not to settle for something or someone you don't have peace about. That peace takes time, it comes in God's time table, not ours. But the waiting and eventually the peace, are worth it. We have to be thankful for God's timing and not our own. He tells us multiple times in the Bible that he has prepared our purpose, our work, our plans, our future, all in advance and they will come to pass when He sees that it is right.
