Today, as we're celebrating Easter at home in a much different way than we're used I want to encourage you to take a little extra time to pray for this world as a whole.I know a prayer that big can be a bit overwhelming. Trust me when I say I know. Something I really struggle with is the realization that we can’t in fact heal the WHOLE WORLD, but I’ve always stopped right there, when in fact the statement should read: We can’t heal the whole world TODAY. But, we can have an impact on the people God places in our lives every day, and we have a choice whether or not to impact them positively or negatively. If we all impacted ONE person’s life positively, all of us, what would that look like? If we only had a fraction of the grace our Jesus did during that last supper feeding his people knowing they would betray him. It’s just something to ponder.
Dear Heavenly Father today I pray for us not only as a country but as a world. There is so much uncertainty and conflict; misunderstand and pain. I thank you for the promise that you will, in the midst of chaos, bring goodness. I pray that you open our hearts and mind to finding the joy, focusing on the good, and always, ALWAYS remembering who is in control and who will always win in the end.
Thank you father for your promises,
Amen
