Today we will pray for those who are mourning the loss of someone they love at this time. It would be absolutely heartbreaking to not be able to have a proper funeral and visitation.
Dear Father,
Today I ask that you would please comfort those people who have lost someone they love during these strange times. Loss is hard enough on its own, but I cannot imagine losing someone and not having been able to say goodbye, visit them in the hospital or nursing home, or being able to have a regular visitation and funeral service. Please cover them with your feathers, Lord, as Your word says in Psalms 91:4. "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." Be with these individuals and watch over them. Guide their steps and protect them, as only You can. Thank you for all the many blessings you have given us.
