Today, we will pray for essential employees who still are required to go to work and continue on with their "normal" daily schedules. I have many essential employees in my family-- my mom works at the post office, my dad is a transport prison guard who takes patients back and forth to doctors' offices, and Hunter is a lineman-- this is near and dear to my heart right now!
Heavenly Father,
Please place your hands of protection over all those employees who are still continuing about their daily lives, despite the Covid-19 "shutdown". Protect them from the virus, and help them to lean on You for guidance and assurance that You will take care of them. Some businesses simply cannot stop, and today we pray for those businesses and their employees. We thank You for allowing them to provide us with services that we need, and ask that You give them strength and energy to do the work they need to do. If there is some way that we can help these businesses/employees during this time, please lay that on our hearts. Thank You for everything that you've given us, and allowing us to have another day on your earth.
